This horrid cold of a few days ago did not last too long, but the air is still rather chilly at the moment. Considering that its not icy, I decided to wear this maxi skirt. You may remember this post where I ‘styled it for two seasons’. Today, I’m wearing it styled very simply with a top I’ve had for years and my Nine West Boots.
This necklace I have worn more times than I can even begin to count. My daughter Taryn did a beading class way back in 2007/8 and at the class she made this necklace which she then gave to me for my Birthday. It has all the colours I feel best in and of course, I feel like I’m getting hugged by her the entire day because it was made with so much love.
The boots I acquired via my sister Norma, who had bought them on a trip to London then decided they were too high for her.
The Stores & Brand : Top : Truworths, OBR | Skirt : Forever New, Candy Box | Boots : Nine West | Belt : Mr. Price
I have a lot of little jobs to accomplish still today:
namely get photo frames for the team picture I took of Liams Rugby side that we are giving to their two coaches,
get goodies for a gift basket purchased and wrapped (want to get it on its way tomorrow),
take 4 photos for my module which I want to get submitted this evening,
do some decluttering in my workspace and if time permits, move my scrapbooking cupboard,
submit dermatologist claim to medical aid,
and lots of other little bits ‘n pieces.
How do you manage what you need to do? Are you able to work off of a mental note or are you a list maker? I’m a list maker … I like to tick off what I’ve done and be able to see what I’m still wanting/needing to do. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I look at a list and all the items are ticked off (that in itself is a bit of a challenge at times … lol).
Hope your day is simply smashing.
