I finally bought jeggings!

I have looked at them on many occasions and just couldn’t make up my mind, but mostly my hesitation was around the size of the legs, specifically the calf area.  I finally saw these at “A.C. Kermans”.  What I liked about these compared to many others that I have seen, is that the ankles were not super, super skinny.  So I took a chance and put them in my basket and I am thrilled at the fit of them. So much so, I’m considering getting another pair in black.  I always pass through Ackermans when I’m doing a walkabout as I often find awesome items and fabulous prices.

A casual look

I also picked up some t-shirts this past week with a longer length cut which are hard to find at times.  So for my long torso friends, do pop in and take a peep.  When I was young I hated jeans.   I wore black pants instead of jeans.  I hated that they were stiff and hard and it was only after having Taryn and jeans started to be made with ‘stretch’ in them that I finally started wearing them. My love affair has since grown.  I paired my jeggings with a loose flowy shirt from Edgars, leopard print pumps from Mr. Price, Bangles from various stores and my handbag that I purchased from Ross on my trip to Houston and the brand is Rosetti. This was another casual day at home look.

Look out for future stylings of these jeggings.

Wendy, I especially love the first photo! The fuchsia is lovely and suits you really well.
Jeggings are a great way of pairing jeans with a tunic or any long top because they don’t add extra volume underneath. I agree, they shoudn’t be too tight around the calf.

      Hi Annette,

You’re so right about the volume and with my issue to get jeans to fit my waist I usually have no option but to wear a belt which can really spoil the look at times.

Thanks my sweetie – I wore those shoes again today with my green skinnies and the nude peplum … I didn’t get around to taking photos though.

You’re pretty darn gorgeous yourself … love you tons!
